Fantastic presentation by Maurice Parkinson this month. Maurice is the owner of Ballyrobert Gardens, County Antrim, which has been rated by the Guardian as one of the Top Ten Secret Gardens in the UK. He has worked in Edinburgh Botanic Gardens and is a former Director of Parks with Belfast City Council.

He enthralled us with his talk on Performance Enhancing Plants, giving us the inside track on how what to consider when selecting plants for our gardens. It was a great night and a fantastic way to finish up for our summer break.
